Panthers went into this game knowing that 3 points would take them into 5th position in the league. However, it was Harriers who took the lead with a deflected corner at the near post beating George Bailey. This was undeserved for Panthers but not nearly as much as the unfortunate own goal by a Harriers defender which pulled Panthers level 2mins later. Panthers woes continued 4mins later when an unfortunate slip by Jamie Wilson left a Harriers striker one on one to beat George Bailey.
Panthers dug deep at half time & looked the more likely to score. After 3mins of the second half Jack Miller-Flynn had a surging run down the right to force a corner. From the resulting corner Kaine Garratt delivered an inch perfect ball, for MotM Sam Steptoe to rise like a salmon & smash home with a thunder bolt header & level the score for Panthers.
Having done the hard work of getting back into the game, Panthers were caught napping ten minutes later as near post corner for Harriers cruelly deflected off Elliot Kelsey into the Panthers net to give Harriers all three points.
