Despite dropping their first points of the season Wolves still managed to grind out a draw against a resilient Sporting Khalsa side. The game itself was scrappy to say the least on a pitch which would be better used to graze sheep!!!
Regardless of the conditions and pitch markings it was the same for both teams and in fairness although both Ben & Callum went close with efforts a draw was probably the correct result.

Wolves’ second game saw a marked improvement in effort, desire and determination as Wolves showed what they were made of against an organised Cresswell Colts.
Early exchanges saw Wolves create the better chances through Edward, Callum & Tom linking up well with Ben who was playing up front in the absence of Lily, but Wolves just could not make the break through.
Regan, Cameron and Jordan looked in total control at the back so it came as some surprise when the Cresswell winger broke free and crossed the ball for the striker to slot home from close range.
Going a goal behind seemed to spur Wolves on as they again began to press. Just four minutes later Callum was hacked down just outside the Cresswell box, up stepped Tom who delivered the ball to the far post where Ben was waiting to smash the ball home and level the score at 1-1.
Drawing level before half time gave Wolves the edge and the introduction of MOTM Jake and fox in the box Josh ensured Wolves would go for the win.
Although Wolves pushed and pressed they were finding Cresswell hard to break down. The mere fact that Jordan only touched the ball once between the sticks in the second half showed how much control Wolves had of the game.
It came with some relief with five minutes to go when Ben made a speculative shot from just outside the box which dropped over the keepers head and landed in the back of the net to give Wolves a well deserved three points.
