Wyrley Colts maintained yet another clean sheet against the Paycare Bilston League North Division’s New Park Village.

This was the Colts hardest match to date with two very strong teams battling for supremacy. The match wwas fircely contested in mdfield with NPV having the edge in the first half with a disallowed goal on the stroke of half time following a Maradona-esque handball and, after some inspirational words from coach Steve Bestall, the Colts came out fighting.
The second half saw the ColtsĀ perform some excellent passing and peppering the NPV goal, battling until the final whistle, with 10 Wyrley Heroes coming awaay with a well-deserved point.

The Colts came out all guns blazing against a side facing their first two fixtures of the season. As with previous matches, the game was won by some excellent passing and pin-opoint accurate shooting.
Both results keep Wyrley ColtsĀ top of the North Division with 13 points (goal difference of 17), 3 points clear of nearest rivals Bentley Youth.
