LICHFIELD JUNIOR YOUTH LEAGUE DIVISION 3 MATCH REPORT 6/11/11
WYRLEY JUNIORS UNITED 4 v 0 BRERETON TOWN
Wyrley had the majority of possession during this game and created several chances. The whole team contributed to this victory and it was a great opportunity for all the players to take part in this game. Wyrley went one up after about five minutes Tom Wheeldon finishing from close range and once more getting his name on the scoresheet, United’s second came a few minutes later when Lewis Hill ran clear of the defence then place his shot neatly wide of the keeper. Brereton battled well but failed to supply the final ball which would give them an opportunity on goal. The second half saw Brereton have their best spell of the game during the first 15 minutes or so, United however responded when man of the match Elliot Crook raced clear and then found the back of the net with a well taken shot. The last few minutes saw Louie Parish and Tom Wheeldon go close before almost with the last kick of the game a Tom Rowlands corner was flicked across the box by Sam Foreman, amongst the confusion in the box Lewis was on hand again to hit his second goal of the game.
Well done boys great team effort.
