WYRLEY TIGERS 1 v 0 APR
This was a excellent game of football, both teams trying to play attractive football, Man of the match Harry Simkin keeping Wyrley in the game in the first half with a string of fine saves, but the rest of team also performed well as a unit to repel APR but also create chances of their own, Josh Smith was denied by a fine stop by the APR keeper, before setting up a chance for Elliot Crook who coolly put Wyrley in front, Wyrley closed out the game to win their first league match in division 2. Great Effort boys well done!
WYRLEY TIGERS 1 v 2 CRESSWELL COLTS
The second game proved to be another great match, Wyrley ran out of steam a little and Cresswell punished Wyrley early on in this game, there opening goal was a well taken volley. Wyrley battled back and were a little fortunate to equalise, Wyrley man of the match William Meredith scoring straight from a corner. Cresswell came back to their credit and took the lead again, Wyrley had a few chances at the end of the game but just couldn’t find an equaliser
