Wyrley Tigers U10’s weekend match reports

WYRLEY TIGERS 2 v 0 TIPTON AZTECS

Wyrley fully deserved this win and dominated much of the game but credit to Tipton who never gave up and battled right to the end.William Meredith hit the crossbar and was unlucky not to open the scoring for Wyrley,  Josh Smith had a couple of shots on target but the excellent Tipton keeper was equal to them. However Smith opened the scoring for Wyrley cutting in from the left then hitting a shot which found the corner of the net. Wyrley continued to press in the second half and Smith put Wyrley two up. Wyrley closed the game out to seal the win, this was an excellent team effort from the boys who all played a part in this victory.

 WYRLEY TIGERS 0 v 1 HEDNESFORD HARRIERS

Wyrley were equal to an high flying Hednesford team during this encounter and were unlucky not to get anything from this game, Harry Simkin was solid in the Wyrley goal and was tested on a couple of occasions in the first half, Josh Smith had a couple of shots from distance and the Hednesford keeper kept them out too, Tom Peacock, Tom Rowlands and Elliot Crook played a disciplined game for Wyrley and Sam Foreman,William Meredith also worked hard for the team.
