BUSH SCORPIONS 2 v 2 WYRLEY TIGERS
Tigers were hoping to improve on their last encounter with Bush and they didn’t disappoint, Tom Wheeldon and Elliot Crook slotted well into their defensive roles ably supported by the solid Tom Peacock. Tigers had a couple of half chances before a well delivered Duncan Reilly corner was met by Josh Smith to head home off the underside of the crossbar, Bush responded by threatening the Tigers goal, Tom Rowlands saved well from Bushes Ben Southall before Southall slipped the Tigers defence to bring Bush level. The second half saw Wyrley having the greater of the possession, Smith went clean through only to see his shot clear the crossbar, Bush however went in front when a speculative effort from the half way line surprised the unfortunate Rowlands to find the back off the net. Tigers didn’t give up though and man of the match Sam Foreman battled hard to win Tigers possession. With a minute to go a Foreman free kick found Smith on the far post to aim his second header into the top corner of the net and earn Tigers a well deserved point
WYRLEY TIGERS 0 v 5 BREWOOD
Not much went well for Tigers in this game, Elliot Crook never gave up in the Tigers goal but the shape and team effort were not up to their usual standard, however Brewood worked hard and took their chances well and deserved to run out convincing winners.
