SHIRE OAK PANTHERS 0 v 0 WYRLEY TIGERS
This was a goaless draw but the game itself was full of non stop action and incident, both teams to their credit tried to play open attacking football in difficult windy conditions. With the wind behind them in the first half Wyrley had the better chances but just failed to get a decent shot on goal, Wyrley took several good corners and a Duncan Reilly corner was meet by Tigers man of the match Tom Peacock whose diving header went just wide. The second half Wyrley had to soak up a some pressure but were a threat on the break with Josh Smith and Tom Wheeldon, Wheeldon won a penalty for Wyrley but Smiths effort just cleared the crossbar. Both keepers played well and made point blank saves to kept the opposition out.
WYRLEY TIGERS 1 v 1 SPORTING KHALSA
Tigers started well in this game but Khalsa took the lead after the first few minutes. Tigers knew then that the much improved Khalsa were going to be difficult opponents, Tigers got back into the game when a Sam Foreman corner was half cleared, but the ball fell to man of the match Elliot Crook who took his chance well to bring Tigers level. Duncan Reilly went close a couple of times in the second half but Tigers shared the points once again.
