Pumas started brightly in difficult playing conditions, a strong wind blowing across the pitch not helping Pumas passing game. After a series of half chances, Abi Hall broke the deadlock with a fine drive going in off the underside of the crossbar, Pumas continued to pressure Penkridge’s goal but without further success in the first half. The Pumas began the second half well, Jaffa and Danni Jay Dodd Biggs competing well in midfield, Jordan Parker was also looking more solid in defence, After some good midfield play Lucy Wells took the ball in the wide right position and after a strong run, her cross drifted in the wind towards the goal to put Pumas two up, Pumas scored their third goal when Wells passed the ball to the impressive Hall who beat the keeper low to her right with a fine shot. There was a short break for a hail storm before Pumas saw the rest of the game out comfortably. Martha Saunders the Pumas keeper was man of the match.
Great effort girls in poor playing conditions well done.
