Panthers got back on the goal trail today with a convincing win against Lichfield. The away team started well and where evenly competing against Panthers and could have taken the lead in the first 10 minutes when Ellie came running out of her goal only to miss kick the ball, which went straight past her only to see the follow up shot from the Lichfield forward go wide, both myself and Shaun missed a heart beat, and we all had a laugh about it, very unusual for Ellie. Just before half time playing down hill Shannon Sault hit a perfect shot into the corner of the net and there was no coming back for Lichfield as Panthers then dominated the game. Second half goals from, Alicia, Maddie, Chloe, and a tremendous volley from Jodie sealed the game for Panthers.
This was another great performance from the girls with a quick mention for the other girls, Amy in defence, Lizzie in Midfield, Ellie in goal who all worked so hard during the match. Another 3 well earned points – Well done girls.
