A great performance today against top of the league Brownhills, who have only lost 2 all season. We lost 3-0 but the score certainly does not reflect the performance. Outstanding performances all round, particulary from Captain Will Carrington, Nathan Brown and Josh Bruton. Even our star keeper Brad could not keep these goals out, Van Der Sar would of struggled! If not for their keeper making 4/5 fantastic saves we may have shared the points that the boys deserved. Man Of Match – The Team..
Unfortunately the second game saw us go down to 6 players and an injury to Owen realistically left us with 5. Still with everything against us the boys battled well and kept it to 4-0 it could of been a lot more. Owen Wood gave a good performance in goal even with his injury, Brad Lawlor had to come out and ran his socks off in defense (I am sure he will welcome going back in between the posts next week) never seen him so quiet!!! And a fantastic Man Of Match performance from Josh Birch!!!
Well done boys, we will be back to winning ways mext week with a full team, especially if we play like we did against Brownhills!!!!!!
