The Club was delighted to be one of the first clubs to be a beneficiary of Howdens Game Changer Programme.
Howdens, in partnership with the English and Scottish FA, and the Irish FA Foundation, aims to upgrade 450+ grassroots clubhouse kitchens over three years, transforming kitchens for clubs and communities.
The club’s kitchen was 13 years old and showing signs of wear and tear and we were so grateful for Howdens’ support in transforming it.
The kitchen was expertly installed by local kitchen fitters Prostyle Heating & Plumbing owned by Sam Reynolds and to say they went the extra mile to help us is an understatement. Sam is a club parent and also supported us by becoming a 100 club member – we can’t thank him enough!
The local Howdens team at Cannock, led by manager Tom Walker, were fantastic in suggesting ideas for improving how the kitchen works and in their service to us and Sam.
The project was overseen by our U12s Vikings manager and committee member, Pete Thomas.
Thanks so much Howdens, Tom, Sam and Pete – the result is fantastic.
We will be organising a formal opening over the next few weeks.
