Sad passing of Club’s First Chairman

The Club is saddened to hear of the passing of our first Chairman, Mel Madely.Mel was chairman of the club from its founding in 1982 to 1997 and enjoyed going on tour with teams, especially to Drancy, Paris. He was a very bubbly character and helped form the club. He is pictured on the right of the top row of the photo below, taken of one of our first teams in 1984.We pass on our condolences to Mel’s family at this very sad time.
