Erin Waddilove captain of the mighty Meerkats

Erin Waddilove (top right) captain of the mighty Meerkats

Erin ‘The General’ Waddilove shows that she can cut the mustard away from her Meerkat comrades. Erin and her Shire Oak Academy team mates showed great endeavour and skill to reach the Football League Girls Cup area finals held at Shrewsbury. Representing Walsall, Erin and co failed to qualify for the finals but proceeded to inflict a hard earned defeat on Heath Park of Wolverhampton. Erin, obviously dedicated her success to the amazing skill and aptitude of her sensational Meerkat coaches.

Erin has turned away approaches from various other teams even though her school friends play for them! Let’s just hope this new found fame doesn’t spark a transfer frenzy!

We’ve (Erin and I) have agreed that when Villa come knocking then we will pay this some serious attention, and that I’ll get a 10% cut of all future transfer fees!

Well done Erin from all of the Meerkats!

Proud to have you as our Captain and you’re a pleasure to train!!
