COUGARS ON TOP FORM IN NEW YEAR

Cougars u15’s have been on the money since the start of the year by winning 3 out of 3 . Cougars entertained 3rd place Beacon Colts 1st game back & eaised past the Colts with a solid performance Joe Mccann with a brace & Sam Day with a spectacular left footed effort from the edge of the box into the top corner .
Last Sunday Cougars where again at home to Cheadle Town in the county cup .After a none eventfull 1st half Cheadle sparked the Cougars into life by scoring 1st but moments later Joe Mccann leveled , with Cougars on top & pushing Cheadle again took the lead breaking away & finishing well . Jacob Shaw came on with great effect leveling with his 1st touch , Cougars where now in complete control but couldnt find that winning goal until extra time when again Sam Day found himself in the penalty area on his left foot & finished with ease to win the game & put Cougras into the last 16.
Cougars made light work of an Aldridge side today playing some great football running out 5-1 winners at a stroll. Joe Mccann with another hatrick & Sam Day a & Jacob Shaw with one each to cap off a great start to the month for the lads .
