OLD WULFS 0 U13S PANTHERS 3

For 25 minutes today, the lads put on a totally inept showing, lacking in commitment and effort. We looked like we were on for a beating, with Joe Lakin coming off his line smartly on a few occasions to snuff out the danger.10 mins before half time we finally woke up,and through the promptings of Reiss Carr,we managed to carve out a couple of good chances, with their keeper  saving from carr and begu.h-t 0-0.aAfter a half time pep talk, the lads gave a totally contrasting display.with Guttridge,Lawrence,McColl and Flaherty now looking solid at the back. This set the platform for a storming 2nd half display.Carr,Keeling,Tomlinson,Begu and Sandland now dominating midfield and supplying good service to the hard working Hughes up front.Chance upon chance came but we couldnt convert one, then an excellent move between Carr and Hughes, created the chance for Liam Sandland to fire the lads into a deserved lead.Fresh legs were needed and Lacey and Penwright came on and both did well,as we pushed for that 2nd clinching goal.More chances went begging, before we finally put the game to bed,With late strikes from Sandland and Lawrence Begu. Well done in the end lads, but we must start faster and play like we can for the full game.
