Having lost their first game of the season against Creswell, Panthers were determined not to slip up against top of the league Tigers. The first half was a closely fought contest which looked to be heading for a goal less conclusion before the Tigers snatched a opportunist strike to beat George Bailey from the edge of the box.
Panthers saw out the remainder of the first half without really creating a chance themselves. The second half saw a much more determined Panthers side, really attacking the Tigers defence & putting them under considerable pressure. It was only a matter of time before Panthers made the pressure pay with Sam Steptoe winning a strong tackle to set Thomas Williamson up with a easy opportunity to smash home for the equaliser. Panthers could have gone on to win the game with a close range effort from MotM Jack Miller-Flynn going close & if not for some great defending from Tigers.
