This was a close fought contest, Wyrley playing 11 a side football competitively for the first time. Wyrley had much of the play in the first half however some good keeping prevented Wyrley taking the lead, Lichfield took their chances well and went one up with their first shot on goal, This seem to lift Lichfield who shortly after were awarded a penalty to finish the half 2 up. Wyrley were caught napping at the start of the second half and Lichfield stretched their lead to three, again finishing well. At last Wyrley got their tails up, Meg Titley converting a penalty and Lucy Wells finishing well just inside the box. Wyrley pressed hard for an equaliser but some fine keeping once again denied the Wyrley attack. Lichfield held on to claim all three points. Wyrley man of the match was Jaffa.
