BLOXWICH VIPERS 6 v 2 WYRLEY TIGERS
Tigers came up against a well drilled and skilful Bloxwich Team, Bloxwich dominated much of the early play and deservedly took a 2 goal lead after only a few minutes, Tigers struggled to compete as Bloxwich were on the top of their game, and scored 2 further goals before half – time, Just before the break a Sam Foreman corner was met on the far post by Ben Southall to pull one back for the Tigers. Tigers competed better in the second half and started to put a few passes together, but Bloxwich were always a threat and they converted 2 more goals, Tigers man of the match Josh Simpson competed well and made some good interceptions, Southall got clear of the Bloxwich defence for his and Tigers second of the game, just before the final whistle.
PARK HILL BOYS 0 v 1 WYRLEY TIGERS
There was a more competitive approach from Tigers during this match, although Park Hill created a few chances themselves, and were a much improved team than the side the Tigers had faced previously. Tigers went close through Elliot Crook and Duncan Reilly, But it was a fine piece of individual skill and a shot from man of the match Ben Southall that broke the deadlock and secured the points for the Tigers.
