An off day today in a scrappy encounter. Wyrley Wolves not quite reaching the potential we know they all have. Sutton Royal Oak proving to be a more difficult opposition than the last time they met.
The first goal today came from Ben in the final stages of the first half, when he used his strength and pace to out wit the keeper. Followed in the second half by an amazing goal by defender Aiden, looping over the keeper who didn’t stand a chance, straight from the free kick ! Kyle supplied Wyrley’s final goal when he received the ball, turned and shot on the spot.
Unfortunately Wyrley were unable to keep a clean sheet as a mix up in defence let in a goal for Sutton Royal Oak. Plenty of positives to take away from the match though as it is another 3 points in a very close league.
No man of match today.
