Ok where do we start, arrived at Roe Lane with 15 minutes to kick off and very little time to warm up. Not sure what to expect from Madeley as there results have been up and down all season. A bit strange playing a team in a bright pink strip, however  European teams have similar colours. The pitch was small in length and a larger pitch normally suits us, also very spongy all over. I think some of the girls/ladies still had Saturday’s match in their minds and wanted to make up for it going 1 up after 4 minutes (Kelly Isaac’s 1st), a flicked on header from Chelsea Burns, then Mary Chandler got in on the act after 10 minutes and slotted home for 2-1. Madeley pulled a goal back on 12 minutes after a slight mistake in the box, but Wyrley then opened up the game, Kelly Isaac’s 13 min and 28 min score 5-1, the next 2 goals  taking us up to half time coming from Leanne Mitchell, Half time score 7-1. Second half started with Leanne once again straight from the kick off 46 min, Kelly Isaac hit the far corner of the net 58 min, Vikki Shaw after 64 min from a throw in off Jody Richards. Kelly Highman 70th minuter, Leanne again in the 75th, Tash sored a rocket goal after 78th minute to make it 13-1, Leanne again 80th, Mary 82nd, Kelly Isaac’s 84th, Vikki scored her hattrick in the 85th minute only to see a dubious offside, we all could see that the ball was laid back, sorry Vikki not given, then Kelly Highman rounded it off in the 87th to make it 17-1.

Now i dont think Madeley wher that bad a side but everything seemed to go in Jody and little Emm where comfortable in defence and Lauren had a few saves to pull of from there best player no 9 Laura Phillips who has scored 15 for them this season. Well this boosts our goal average up quite a bit and it was due to the quality of play all round, also its the last match up in the Stoke area so not so far to travel now.

Great performance girls.   Player of the Match   Tash
