WYRLEY LADIES RESERVES – MATCH REPORT 19/4/2009

WYRLEY LADIES RESERVES 3   WEDNESFIELD LADIES  0

The Edge of Love move

After beating Wednesfield by 10 goals 2 weeks earlier as thought this time it would be a different match,  the away side put out a much changed side as expected. However Wyrley started the game with pace and created a number of chances which should have been put away. Vikki Shaw had a great game and set up a couple of goals from her runs down the wing and then superb crosses into the opponents box. Kelly Isaccs got the first goal and Kelly Highman the second. The defensive partnership of Little Emm, Jody and Kirsty helped Lauren Cresswell in goal keep a clean sheet. The goal of the game came from Leanne Mitchell who notched her 31st goal of the season with a well taken volley just outside the goal area  over the top of the Wednesfield goaly into the net to make the final score 3 0.

Well done again – good overall performance
