Wyrley went into this match after playing the day before and looked a little tired but once again seemed to be trying too hard and not until the opening goal (an own goal) did they open up and themn played some of their quality football. The passing was quality, the defending was excellent and Lauren in goal had little to do, but the girls knew that they still had to be on their toes and not let the Madeley girls get into their stride. A good player and always a threat was Madeley’s no 9  Laura Phillips (the leagues 2nd top goal scorer) who had a couple of chances and also nipped in between Little Emm and Lauren in goal, after a misunderstanding between them both to score Madeley’s consolation goal. However back to the real story Leanne once again got on the score sheet with another 2 well taken goals, Kelly Isaac’s with 1 goal and to finish off Rachel Hall hit a well taken shot past the sprawling Madeley keeper to make it 5. The only worry being Chelsea who took a knock in the game and not sure if she will be ok for the next game as we have the last of our 3 games over the weekend on Tuesday night, against the league’s in form team Bradwell Belles.

Great game girls and a pleasure to watch such a good game of football.
