What a fantastic day for our Wyrley Panthers under 8’s team this afternoon, the Panthers team played some wonderful football against truly excellent football teams. The Panthers started off to a flyer, playing six games in total; winning 3 drawing 2 losing 1 to get all the way to the final. This was a tough day for the Panthers faced with all the games and having their energy levels drop to an all time low! This however showed how determined and hard working the Panthers team are, producing such brilliant football at times, which was a real pleasure to watch. Midland soccer academy manager Kieran said these two teams have played very well today and deserve to be in the final! This was the perfect pre season tournament and for us and to do this well is an added bonus. It makes me immensely proud to be a part of such a great team. Thank you to all our boys for their effort and to all the parents for their continued support.
