Everyone within the Club was devastated to learn of the sad death of Liam Keeling. The Club is now working with Andy and Georgina Keeling to raise money for Meningitis UK. The Club has organised the following fundraising events, which the Club knows will be supported strongly by all club members: –
31 January 2010 – Wyrley Juniors FC First Team v Walsall FC Old Boys at Great Wyrley FC, Hazel Lane, Great Wyrley. 2.00 kick off. We are hoping for a capacity crowd of 1,000 to attend.
19 February 2010 – Variety Night at Cheslyn Hay Working Mens Club, Station Street, Cheslyn Hay. Time to be confirmed. Many thanks go from Wyrley Juniors FC to Cheslyn Hay WMC for volunteering to put on this event for us.
The Club is now finalising details, which will be shared on this site over the next few weeks.
