In March 2005, the Club signed a formal agreement with Walsall FC, with both clubs benefitting from the following: –

Wyrley Juniors FC will refer players with exceptional ability to Walsall FC

Walsall FC will advise Wyrley Juniors FC when they are releasing players

Wyrley Juniors FC will support Walsall FC social functions

Walsall FC will allow Wyrley Juniors FC coaches to see professional coaching first hand – Training Times for Centre of Excellence as follows: – Under 8s 6.00 to 7.30 Wednesdays; Under 9s 6.00 to 7.30 Mondays and Wednesdays; Under 10s 6.00 to 7.30 Mondays and Thursdays; Under 11s 6.00 to 7.30 Tuesdays and Thursdays; Under 12s 6.00 to 7.30 Tuesdays and Thursdays; Under 13s 6.00 to 7.30 Tuesdays and 7.30 to 9.00 Thursdays; Under 14s 7.30 to 9.00 Tuesdays and Thursdays; Under 15s 7.30 to 9.00 Tuesdays and Thursdays; Under 16s 7.30 to 9.00 Mondays and 7.00 to 9.00 Wednesdays. Walsall FC will provide 20 complimentary tickets to every league home game

Walsall FC will provide Wyrley Juniors FC with pitch maintenance advice when the Long Lane Development is completed.

So far Wyrley have referred over 20 players and there are at least 8 on Walsall FC books

We have taken tables at a number of Walsall FC functions.

As a result of our unique link with Walsall FC and Essington Parish Council, we were instrumental in helping Walsall FC identify their new training ground at Broad Lane, Essington.
