Wooohoooo!!! Panthers Under 9’s were superstars this week as they played Beacon Panthers at Pelsall EDC.
With Josh back off holiday some excellent team work was demonstrated by the lads.
As Beacon struggled to get past Damian & Harry in defence Wyrley really did look strong.
Unfortunately Beacon Panthers managed to score a goal towards the end of the first half but the game was by no means one sided.
As the Panthers came out in the second half it really was anyone’s game. But before anyone knew what was happening WILL seized a brilliant opportunity & scored a truly astonishing goal for Wyrley!! Leaving the teams looking set for a 1 – 1 draw.
With Wyrley dominating the match a lucky second goal for Beacon left Wyrley 2 – 1 down as the final whistle blew.
A really fantastic match for Wyrley Panthers today & with more of that sort of playing a win is sure to be on the cards.
Training will be on Tuesday 5pm – 6pm at Great Wyrley behind the skate park & then 5pm – 6pm on Wednesday at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre indoors for anyone who can make it.
